Overview

I led the product design of Living Map’s large-format touchscreen kiosk interfaces, translating core spatial mapping capabilities into an intuitive digital wayfinding experience built for high-traffic public spaces. My focus on creating a resilient, frictionless user experience established the platform as a market-leading solution, turning our kiosk offering from a secondary product variant into a premier wayfinding asset that unlocked a highly scalable revenue channel for the business.

Impact

The polished maturity, accessibility, and intuitive experience of the kiosk established it as an independently recognised, market-leading solution. Rather than relying on traditional outbound sales, the product generated its own commercial pull, attracting organic inbound interest from some of the UK's largest retail centres, healthcare campuses, and universities, and securing direct Invitations to Tender (ITTs). What began as a secondary product variant had evolved into a premier commercial asset — demonstrating that thoughtfully designed public hardware experiences could command serious enterprise attention.
